NL/ENG. Terwijl het aftellen is naar de Grande Partenza die over een maand plaats vindt, hebben de etappesteden van de Giro hun oriëntatiepunten, monumenten, straten en pleinen al in het roze gestoken om de tot de verbeelding sprekende ‘Corsa Rosa’ te vieren. Het initiatief is tot stand gekomen in samenwerking met Enel, de officiële sponsor van de Maglia Rosa voor de 104e Giro d'Italia.

De Giro, georganiseerd door RCS Sport, begint op 8 mei in Turijn en eindigt op 30 mei in Milaan. Turijn en de regio Piemonte zullen voor het eerst in 10 jaar gastheer zijn van de Grande Partenza, ter gelegenheid van de 160ste verjaardag van de eenwording van Italië.

ENG. As the countdown to the Grande Partenza hits one month to go, the race's stage cities light up their landmarks, monuments, streets and piazzas in pink to celebrate the Corsa Rosa. The initiative has been created in partnership with Enel, the official sponsor of the Maglia Rosa for the 104th Giro d'Italia.

Organized by RCS Sport, this year's Giro will start in Turin on 8 May, to finish in Milan on 30 May. Turin and the Piemonte Region are set to host the Grande Partenza for the first time in 10 years, on the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the unification of Italy.
